Why DIY?
Doing something yourself is a very rewarding experience, okay I know that some of you might say that you don't know how to use tools or you have two left thumbs when trying to screw two pieces of wood together. But like everything else , it just takes practice and perseverance. Besides there is always someone out there who is willing to help or you can simply farm out the difficult jobs to small businesses. I find cupboard manufacturers are a good example when it comes to cutting and edging panels and I have built up a good relationship with my wood supplier who is always willing to try new things or techniques. The same with my electronic supplier, they go out of their way to try and get hard to find parts and there are always customers who are only too willing to give advice or help out.
